The Applefest Half Marathon, Saturday October 2, 2004

Perfect race weather, fall foliage, and apple crisp...it doesn't get much better.

All conditions pointed to a good race, and Dave Geary came through with a 1:36:51 finish, 92nd overall out of 898 finishers. Geary was paced by an incognito Wes Lassen running as Joyce Chells.

Wes is in possession of a stunning white wig, but it's unknown at this time whether Joyce was wearing it.
