New England Mountain Series Circuit Results
It took a while this year to complete the Mt. Circuit, but I must say it was a great Circuit with the addition of 2 more races than 2004. The Pack Monadnock 10 miler and the Cranmore Hill Climb evened out the circuit this year to six races. Out of the Team Gloucester contingent Dave and Peter V Completed the entire circuit and were awarded the title of “Mountain Goats”.
Once all was said and done, Dave walked away with 404.38 points for the total six races and was “Top Mountain Goat” in the male open category for the 21 runners that completed the circuit and he was able to post 343.69 for the best five races scored. Peter was able to post 378.21 total points and gave himself a third place finish in the 50-59 category among the 21 runners to complete the entire circuit and 322.99 points for the best five races scored. Scoring is based on a total of 500 points out of the best five races you run .
Overall it was a great circuit and kudos goes out to Richard Bolt and Dave Dunham who put the circuit together every year. I can see this is one circuit I will do for some years to come.
