  • Layce Alves reports her screwed shoes performed admirably on Saturday. Anyone else try this yet?
  • Bob Gillis is feeling well rested, unlike his buddies Jenn and Rick, who did get up for spinning class on Tuesday. Gillis explained that he was recovering from a victorious day of racquetball the day before. Mysteriously, he can charge up a 6,000 foot mountain and claim no soreness, but racquetball seems to do him in.
  • A determined Dave Geary post-holed through Ravenswood on Monday. He's now looking into snowshoes.
  • The elusive Mike Ronan has also been sighted running in the snow. Secret Training to recapture the neighborhood title, perhaps?
  • What happened Sunday?
    • Realizing they weren't going to make it to Forest Lane on Sunday, Pete Watson and Matt Curran ran in snow up to their armpits in dogtown.
    • Dave went out to clear his car and, 3 hours later, finished.
    • Bob went skiing on the golf course.
    • Wes sat in Logan Airport waiting for his flight to California to be canceled, which finally happened at 5:30.
    • Jenn went snowshoeing, then ran in Boston with Rick-- with two feet of snow, it was almost like being on a trail. Almost.
